We cool? by Jeff Rosenstock came out right when I needed it. I was feeling shit about a few situations and couldn't quite work out exactly what was going on within myself. I heard the song "Nausea" and was like holy fuck this is exactly how I feel right now. So I listened to all of Jeff's music and decided to write to him and tell him how much the album meant to me and he being the fucking legend that he is, replied to my message. hence the song.

and the life long lesson

The people that I truly love tell me these things all the fucking time

but in my typical fashion it always takes an external view
to change my internal outlook and change the techniques that I use
